Dr. Zach Boltjes graduated from Palmer College in Davenport Iowa with his Doctorate in Chiropractic in Februrary 2017.
He has been practicing in Siouxland for over 7 years. Before attending Palmer College, Dr. Zach graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa where he knew that he wanted to continue his career in the Siouxland community.
Dr. Boltjes grew up in northwest Iowa, near the small town of Primghar. He has been determined to follow the path of chiropractic since he was in high school when he was actively playing sports and became acquainted with chiropractors in the area.
Dr. Zach focuses on a treatment that will fit you. He utilizes Palmer Package adjustment techniques, which include Gonstead, Diversified, Activator, Thompson drop, and side posture. Dr. Zach provides chiropractic physiotherapy exercises and advice to help you with any concerns you may have. Dr. Zach also utilizes acupuncture with a micro-pulse system. He recognizes that a lot of injuries can cause soft tissue pain and uses soft tissue techniques such as trigger point therapy and myofascial release, which may be a healthy alternative to muscle relaxers and pain medications.
Dr. Zach loves to golf, even in the off months, he is active in indoor golf tournaments on local golf simulators. He also loves to hunt/fish and spend time with his family and friends.
